Miss Minnie Quinn, maid employed in home of Douglas Smith of Winnetka, believed murdered in Los Angeles, by Caiphas Cornelius Dillon, the suicide, whose body was found on the railroad tracks in Wilmette on Saturday morning. Several people identified the murdered woman from a photograph: Douglas Smith, Winnetka and Mrs. Douglas Smith; Dr. J. F. Presnell, 4601 Evanston Ave., Chicago; Mrs. D. Callaghan, proprietor of an employment agency at 841 Rush Street, Chicago. Some thought the victim might have been Bessie Jones. Dr. Presnell confirmed he had been asked to perform an abortion on Minnie Quinn who had been presented by Dillon as his wife. The girl confessed to the doctor she was not married to Dillon. Mrs. C.C. Dillon given $80 from Northwestern Railroad because of the death of her husband. There is a Minnie Quinn now living in Winnetka, but she is not connected in any way with the case.
