John A. Brehn, 57 years old, who lived in a cottage at the rear of 225 Linden avenue, was found dead in bed early Wednesday morning by his mother, Mrs. Anna Brehn. Death was due to heart failure. Brehn, according to friends of the family, had been ill for several months and had only recently returned home from the County Hospital in Chicago. Early this morning Mrs. Brehn heard a cry, traced it to her son's apartment and upon reaching his bedside found Brehn dead. An inquest was conductedin the real estate offices of Paul Schroeder near-by on Wednesday morning when death was pronounced due to heart failure. Brehn, who was a telegraph operator, is survived by his mother and a younger sister. Funeral arrangements had not been completed today.
