Funeral services for Richard Dalton, 1148 Isabella street, who died early Saturday morning, were conducted from St. Francis' church Monday morning. Burial was at Calvary cemetery, Evanston. Dalton was a retired sewer contractor. He was the inventor of a sewer trench digging machine which is now widely in use. He was the father-in-law of Chief of Police Charles W. Leggett of Evanston, and Roy Fancher, a well known north shore garage man.
