Loyola's enrollment jumped from 1,400 to 2,000 in 1994 when the school became coeducational. Enrollment is confined by a Wilmette ordinance that limits the schools size, and by the limiots of the campus itself. Improvements occur mostly within the same walls it's had since construction of an addition tha accomoted the addition of girls 13 years ago.
