After going 22-15 overall and finishing third in the Chicago Catholic League, the Loyola boys volleyball has a 0-2 start as Lionel Ebling begins his fourth season at head coach.

The two loses have come against Vernon Hills (23-25, 28-26, 25-23) March 18 and to Niles West (22-25, 25-23, 25-22) March 20.

Ebling has four seniors returning and is starting four sophomores. His sophomores consist of outside hitters Reis Foster, Patrick Barry and Kevin Feeley, and middle hitter Connor Rundall.

Elias Aparcedo, a 6-foot-3 junior, is a third-year varsity starter who will be the setter this season. Senior middle hitter Daniel McDonough was also mentioned.
