Mrs. Mary Schwall Dies; Resident Here 41 Years [heading] Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Schwall, 804 Ridge avenue, wre held Monday, April 17 [1933] at St. Joseph's church, with burial at St. Mary's cemetery in Techny. Mrs. Schwall, who was 72 years old, died Thursday, April 13, of pneumonia. She had been ill four days. For the past forty-one years Mrs. Schwall had been a resident of Wilmette, moving here from Evanston. She was born in Germany and came to this country when a young girl. Surviving her are her husband, Samuel Schwall, five sons and two daughters. Three of the sons, Henry, Nicholas and Andrew and one of the daughters, Mrs. Karl Pape, live in Wilmette. Another son, Joseph, lives in Milwaukee, while the fifth son, Peter, is a resident of Winnetka. One daughter, Mrs. Henry Hochstetter, lives in Chicago. Two brothers, Carl Heck of Wilmette and Peter Heck of Elkhart, Ind., also survive her. Mrs. Schwall was a member of St. Mary's society of St. Joseph's church and also of the Ladies' Aid society of that church.
