Funeral services for John F. Campbell, 635 Wayland avenue, Kenilworth, who passed away at the age of 68 years early Tuesday monring, June 27, were to be held at 1:30 o'clock today (Thursday)from the Krauspe Funeral home at 3905 Lincoln avenue, Chicago. Mr. Campbell was a resident of the north shore for many years, having until recent years resided in Hubbard Woods. He was born in Watertown, Ontario, Canada, in 1864 and came to Chicago in 1886 when he became associated with the D.B. Scully syrup and sugar concern. After working with other concerns for several years, he established his own sugar brokerage business when 35 years of age, which later assumed the firm name of Campbell and Dunker, one of the best known brokerage concerns in the middle west. Mr. Campbell retired in 1925. He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Marion L., of Kenilworth, and three sons, Stuart M. of Wilmer, Ala., and John H. and Ronald K. of Kenilworth.
