Edward Anderson Wheeler, 55, died Friday night (Nov. 25) [1977] in Evanston Hospital after an extended illness. He was a resident of Winnetka. Mr. Wheeler is survived by his wife, Letitia Ohmer; a daughter, Beth Empeier; a son, Robert; stepchildren, Anne, John and Teresa Swafford; his mother, Ruth Wheeler; stepfather, Henry Wheeler; and sister, Laura Summerville. A funeral mass was said Nov. 28 at Sts. Faith, Hope and Charity Catholic Church in Winnetka. Burial was in Tacoma, Wash. [Washington].
