Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 7:30 P.M., the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Wilmette will conduct a public hearing in the Council Chambers of Village Hall, 1200 Wilmette Avenue, Wilmette, Illinois when matters listed below will be considered:

2005-Z-54 108 Hollywood Court A request by Ron and Linda Lamkey for an 879.34 square foot (7.8%) total floor area variation to permit the construction of a second-floor addition on the legal nonconforming structure on the property legally described as: Lot 17 in Hollydale, a subdivision of part of Lot 23 in County Clerk's Division of Fractional Section 33, Township 42 North, Range 13 East of the Third Principal Meridian, and Lots 4, 5 and 6 in Owner's Division of Lot 39 in said County Clerk's Division; together with all that part of the 30.0 foot private road, as said road appears in Owner's Division plat of subdivision aforesaid (recorded July 31, 1908 as Document Number 4329097), lying West of the Easterly line extended North of Lot 17 aforesaid, and lying East of the West line extended North of said Lot 17, all in Cook County, Illinois.

2005-Z-56 139 Linden Avenue A request by Linda and Martin Dawson for a 1.7' side yard setback and 1.86' rear yard setback to permit the replacement of an existing two-car detached garage on the property legally described as: The East 49 ½ ft. of Lot 6 in Owner's Subdivision of Lots 1 to 10, inclusive, in Block 17 in Lake Shore Addition to Wilmette (in the North Section of Ouilmette Reservation, Township 42 North Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois.)

2005-Z-62 1727 Elmwood Avenue A request by Virginia Beharry, for a 2.0' front yard setback variation and a 1.19' side yard setback variation to permit the construction of a second floor addition on the legal nonconforming structure on the property legally described as: Lots 14 and 15 (except the West 8 feet) and the West 12 ½ feet of Lot 13 in Block 4 in E. T. Pauls Addition to Wilmette, a subdivision of the West 1053.3 feet of the South half of the Southeast quarter (except the South 6-34/100 chains and portion lying East of railroad) of Section 28, Township 42 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.

2005-Z-63 1349 Chestnut Avenue A request by Nina and Matt Sitzer for a 7.75' front yard setback variation to permit the raising of the roof and the addition of three dormers, a 0.23' side yard setback variation to permit the raising of the roof, a 5.08' front yard porch setback to permit the construction of a front portico, a 2.75' front yard step setback variation to permit the construction of front steps on the legal nonconforming structure, and an 8.0' air conditioner setback variation to permit the replacement of two air conditioner condensers on the property legally described as: Lot 3 in Portia G. Lee Subdivision of Lots 7 and 8 in Block 10 Together with the North ½ of the Vacated Alley, lying South of and adjoining said Lots 7 and 8 and that part of Block 9 and Vacated Chestnut Avenue lying South of the Southwesterly line of Chestnut Avenue as established by Plat of Dedication recorded January 8, 1900 as Document Number 2913345 in Gage's Addition to Wilmette being a Subdivision in Sections 27 and 28, Township 42 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.

2005-Z-64 2041 Chestnut Avenue A request by Kurt and Mary Beth Kovacic for a 0.16' side yard setback, a 5.92' rear yard setback variation, and a 0.92' rear yard step setback variation to permit the construction of a first floor and second floor addition and a 2.73' front yard porch setback variation and a 1.98' front yard step setback variation to permit the construction of a new front porch on the legal nonconforming structure on the property legally described as: Lot 1 in Roy B. Blass' Resubdivision of Lot 25 (except the E. 50 ft. thereof) in King's Fields, being a subdivision of those parts of Lots 2, 3 and 4 lying West of the center line of Ridge Avenue of Barbara Wagner's Subdivision, being a subdivision of the South 50 acres of the North 60 acres of the SW ¼ of Section 28, Township 42 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.

2005-Z-65 2101 Thornwood Avenue A request by Brian Schafer for a 1.47' rear yard setback variation to permit the expansion of an existing one-story addition on the legal nonconforming structure on the property described as: Lot 87 in Manus Lake Shore Highlands, being a Subdivision in the Southwest Quarter of Section 28, Township 42 North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
