I. A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax levy increase for Wilmette School District 39, Cook County, Illinois for 2005, will be held on December 19, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. at the Mikaelian Education Center, 615 Locust Road, Wilmette, Illinois.
Any person desiring to appear at the public hearing and present testimony to the taxing district may contact Dr. Glenn "Max" McGee, Superintendent and Board Secretary, at 847-256-2450.

II. The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended or abnated for 2004 were $29,863,807.
The proposed corporate and special purpose property taxes to be levied for 2005 are $31,027,695. This represents a 3,90% increase over the previous year.

III. The property taxes extended for debt service for 2004 were $1,344,428. The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service for 2005 are $1,219,744. This represents a 9.27% decrease over the previous year.

IV. The total property taxes extended or abated for 2004 were $31,208,235. The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2005 are $32,247,469. This representa a 3.33% increase over the previous year.
