President Schaeffer of the New Trier association, Mr. Peters, the sec- retary, and C B. Refineckar spoke for the large organization. President Clyde, Mr. Parrish and others spoke for the Glencoe association. All of the speakers were of the opinion that it would be a great thing for the north shore to have the one association take in the entire township. A committee of three from each town was appointed to meet and dis- cuss ways and means to bring about the consolidation. The meeting was part social and part business.
