The parts were well taken, the only criti- cism so far heard Is that it was not long enough. The ladies' violin quar- tet added materially to the entertain- ment The parts were taken as fol- lows: First violin, Mrs. Macauley; second violin, Miss Eleanor Serrell; third violin, Mrs. Talt; fourth violin. Mrs. Bennett; accompanist, Mrs. Ruth Roberts. The selections played were "Cinderella March." by Papini, and "Serenade," by Helmesberger. At 8 p. m. Mr. Peter Hermann and Mrs. Caroline Prochnow were united in wedlock. Following the marriage service an In- fant son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwara Prochnow and grandchild of the bride was ehristened. The Rev. Schelber of Evanston officiated at both services. A supper was served to about eighty guests, after which dancing was the feature of the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Hermann will reside in Chicago. WILMETTE MAN ROBBED. W. J. Faherty, 157 Kline street, was held up Friday night in Chicago by two men and was seriously injured. He was. taken to the Alexian Bros.' hospital, where his wounds were dressed. His face was badly bruised, one eye was cut and six stitches were taken in bis head. Several doctors worked over him for a number of hours before he was in condition to be removed to his home.
