: f |,: â- 'Morning Report9 of the Wilmette Legion BY THE ADJUTANT The Wilmette Post of the American Legion is going to hold one of the greatest dinners the village has"evef seen. On June 6 the men of the_Eost and the mothers, sisters, wives and daughters of the ex-service men of the village will meet around the fes- tive hoard and make friends. This is to he the first general meeting of this nature and a very large attendance is-anticipated. The plans for Decoration Day are Almost completed and trfe Legion men are beginning to dust oft the old uni- form* and plug up the holes. This Decoration Day will be memorable : We are going to have the biggest pa- rade ever held in Wilmette, and it will be the town's first opportunity to see "its "cx-fig4it4ugâ€"forces" lined- At the meeting last Monday the State Service officer, Johnny Hart- man, spoke briefly to the post.
