Leaflets en- titled "Questions in Geography" con- cerning the study of geography and current events in the Near East were distributed. "Alice in Hungerland" is a three reel film concerning an American girl whose father is a relief worker in the Bible lajuls. The mother of the girl telfs her of the loneliness of the father in that far away country. A newspaper is shown containing the report of a boat-load of flour „that is being prepared for shipment to feed starving widows and children of the Near East. The girl decides that she will hide on the boat and visit her father. The little stowaway is dis- covered and taken with a party visit- ing orphanages, hospitals and other (institutions in the Bible lands sup- ported by Americans through the Disabled Soldiers Have Real Christine* Rod Croat to Provide Great Day for Men in Hospital*; Now Trier High Helps Kiddies Near East Relief. The picture visualizes many of the places which are now conspicuous in the news reports now appearing in the papers. It also shows cities and places referred to in the Bible. There is happiness and sorrow depicted; comfort and misery, hopelessness and despair. The picture has its thrills and its humor. It is interesting, in- formative and inspiring. It becomes more so because of the presence of such a well informed and eloquent lecturer as Miss Pashayan.
