SHALL WE PAY Unpaid Contractor's Bill to be "Little Ballot" Issue At Spring Ballot WORK DONE IN 1900-01 McGarry Company Petitions Board The so-called "Little Ballot" will be ,n evidence at the regular Village election in Wilmette this spring as the result of action taken by the Vil- lage board Tuesday of this week in response to a petition submitted by John A. McGarry and comparrjrre^avenue, is convalescing at the.Evans questing an expression from the voters on the question of payment of $4,210.35 to the company from the general funds of the village. The figure represents an amount repre- sented to be due the company for side- walks laid in the village in 1900 and 1901. The board authorized preparation of ai\ ordinance to provide for sub- mission of the question to the voters by the "Little Ballot" method. Did Work In 1900 In a petition signed by John A. Mc- Garry and Harry Fowler, the latter a well known citizen of the village, it is pointed out that in 1900 and 1920 the John A.
