Her first lecture will be given on Wednesday afternoon, October 3, beginning at 4:45 o'clock. This work will prepare Second Class scouts for the examination for the Citizen Merit/ Badge, and the class will^oiisist mainly of High ScTTooT^girls. Any parent or friend who may wish to slip in to these lectures will be heart- ily welcome. The lectures will be given in the Young People's auditor- ium of the Methodist church, since Scout meetings will continue to be held at this church. Plan Great Pageant During the month of November, plans are already being laid for a course of lectures preparing the girls for the Hostess Merit Badge. Cap- tain Fleming will present this work, and the very finest authorities will be used as a basis for this training for entertaining. Wilmette already is hearing, and will continue to hear until the date of presentation, about the magnificent pageant which the Girl Scouts are preparing:, and which they hope to present to the public in about six weeks.
