Word has reached here of the death of John G. Gunn, former director of the Troubador Glee club in Winnetka and soloist at Christ church, Winnetka. Mr. Gunn, who was also a radio announcer for station WEHS, Orrington hotel, Evanston, died at the home of an uncle at Braemore, Springfield, County of Fife, Scotland, on October 22 after a long illness. He left the north shore last July, going to his old home in Scotland to recuperate from his illness. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Isabella Gunn of Hubbard Woods, a brother, James A. Gunn, also of Hubbard Woods, and a sister, Mrs. Otto Haskins of Omaha, Nebr. Burial took place at Springfield, Scotland.
