Young, Alfred and Randle, Barbara (Married)
- Full Text
The H.C. Carroll home at 1041 Ashland avenue was the scene of a small informal wedding Monday afternoon of this week, when Miss Barbara Randle became the bride of Alfred Young. The Rev. John G. Hindley read the services at 4:30 o'clock and a small reception followed. The bride, who has been a teacher in South Bend schools, was in a frock of white mousseline-de-sole, and carried Johanna Hill roses and valley lilies. Her only attendant, Miss Gladys Bower of South Bend, wore blue crepe and had a corsage bouquet of white roses and blue flowers. Arthur Hempker of Evanston served as best man. Mr. Young, an electrical engineer with the Public Service company of Evanston, and his bride have gone to Delavan Lake, Wis., on their honeymoon. They will return to live on the north shore.
