Gibbons, Gertrude Mary (née Tynan) (Died)

Mrs. Gertrude Mary Gibbons, 1500 Forest Avenue, Wilmette, died Monday, May 30, at St. Francis Hospital after a long illness. She had been a resident of the village for 17 years. A member of the Wilmette Catholic Woman's Club, she served as its president from 1936 to 1938. Services are being held today at St. Francis Xavier Church with High Mass at 10 o'clock. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery. Mrs. Gibbons is survived by her husband, Thomas P.; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Gertrude Carlsson of Huntington, L.I.; one son, John Tynan Gibbons of Skokie; one sister, Miss Kathryn M. Tynan of Highland Park; and one brother, Edward A. Tynan of Chicago.
