Mrs. Sarah L. Powers, 89 Years Old, Is Dead
Mrs. Sarah L. Powers, mother of Mrs. R. F. Lynch, 347 Oak circle, died at her daughter’s home here Monday at the age of 89 years. The funeral services were held Wednesday after afternoon at Grand Rapids, Mich. Mrs. Powers, although born in Rhode Island, had spent practically all her lifetimc in Grand Rapids since she was a young girl. Besides the daughter in Wilmette, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. S. A. Emery, two sons, Frederick W. and Frank C. Powers, and a twin sister, Mrs. Susan J. Young, all of Grand Rapids. Since last Thanksgiving, Mrs. Powers had been visiting her daughter in Wilmette.
