Wayne E. Mayer of Evanston died July 22 in Cudahy, Wis. He was 36. Mr. Mayer was born in Evanston and lived in the city for a long time. He worked as a supervisor for Lazer Systems, Inc. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Phillips Mayer of Evanston; his parents, Samuel A. and Pauline Mayer; a daughter, Katherine Elizabeth, and one son, Daniel, all of Evanston. Funeral services were held at 7:30 p.m. July 24 in the chapel of the Wm. H. Scott Guardian Funeral Home. Burial took place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie.
