Hawxhurst, Ralph Reynaud (Died)

Ralph Reynaud Hawxhurst, 64, of 506 Lake Avenue, Wilmette, a former president and trustee of the Village of Kenilworth and a prominent Chicago attorney, died August 9 in the Evanston Hospital. Mr. Hawxhurst, a native Chicagoan, was president of Kenilwroth from 1927 to 1933, after serving as a village trustee from 1924 to 1927. He resided in Kenilworth for 18 years before moving to Wilmette 10 years ago. He ws a member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Wilmette. He leaves his widow, Jeannette; two sons, Stephen and Ralph R. Jr.; two daughters, Mrs. Jacqueline Callanen and Mrs. Robert Megowen; and eight grandchildren. Services held August 11 at St. Francis Xavier Church were followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston.
