Joseph Wagner, 60 years old, 4124 Winthrop avenue, Chicago, a flagman employed by the Northwestern "L" at Noyes street, died Monday while sitting in his shanty at the crossing. Heart disease is supposed to have caused his death. Dr. W. A. Thomas passed the crossing early in the evening. As he did so Wagner called to him and told him he felt ill. Dr. Thomas started after a physician, but when he arrived the old man was dead. He had been employed in Evansston about four years.
