- Mabel (née Alward) Dodson, 94, of Wilmette, died at St. Francis Hospital January 24, 2003. Born in Chicago. Mrs. Dodson was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur and brother John of Eagle River. Survivors include her children, Timmins of Wilmette, Thomas (Charlene) of Hillsboro, Ore., Susan (the late James) Salmon of Meqoin, Wisconsin, and Roberta (William) O'Reilly of Long Grove; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
