- Mandel B. Salafsky died Oct. 14 at his Glencoe home. He was 88. A native of Chicago. Burial was at Westlawn Cemetery in Norridge. He is survived by his sons, Dr. Bernard Salafsky and Dr. Ira Salafsky, both of Glencoe; and his sister, Esther Levenson.
