- William Nicholls, who lived in Wilmette for 15 years, until 1979, died in Falls City, Oregon, on March 28. He was 66. He is survived by his wife, Levona; his sisters Shirley Chorbajian of Racine, Wisconsin and Doreen Henry of Phoenix, Arizona; as well as his children, Donald of Seattle, David and Doreen of Michigan, and Audree and Michael Nicholls of Wilmette.
