- J. Maynard Packel died Feb. 4 at his Winnetka home. He was 77. A native of Waterloo, Wis. Mr. Packel is survived by his wife, Jeanne; his children, Ned Packel of Tulsa, Okla., Jeannien Packel of Chicago, Renee Wochner and Molly Driscoll of Northbrook, and John Packel of Bishop, Calif.; and his grandchildren, Kimberly, Eric, Elliott, Katie and Melissa Packel of Tulsa, Wendy, Joel, Lisa and Gretch Wochner of Northbrook, John Jr. and Jason Packel of Bishop and Mark, Gregory and Breanne Driscoll of Northbrook.
