- Margaret M. Miller of 1921 Birchwood Av. in Wilmette died Jan. 6 at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. Mrs. Miller, 88, was a Schaefer, the daughter of the first born Caucasian in Gross Point. Her husband, Nicholas H., died in June last year. She is survived by three sons, Norbert, Richard and Daniel; and six daughters, Gretta Fiegen, Lois Steffens, Vivian Burke, Hope Miller, Jacqueline Meier and Doris Coulter; 30 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie.
