- Dr. Lindy Ann Kona and Dr. Bradley James Stanclu were married Oct. 20 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Wilmette with the Rev. Edward F. Harnett celebrating the wedding Mass. The bride is the daughter of Martha Kona of Wilmette and the late William Kona. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Stanclu of Aurora. Olivia M. Kona was the matron of honor for her sister and Daniel J. Stanclu was best man for his brother. The bride's niece, Genevieve Kona-Mancini, was the flower girl and the readers were Irene Las, Olivia M. Kona and Daniel J. Stanclu. The presentation of the gifts was done by the bridegroom's sisters, Dana Matchus, Elizabeth Stanclu and Leslie Stanclu. Bridesmaids were Karen Conway, Lisa Godfrey, Dr. Jenny Bajalcaliev and Dr. Evelyn Kidonakis. Groomsmen were Dr. James Matchus, Daniel Reynolds, Bryan Scott and Paul Duris. Ushers were William Las and David Bumbar. The newlywed couple reside in Wilmette.
