- Robert B. Crane Sr., formerly of Wilmette, died Aug. 14 in St. Louis. A native of Chicago. His great-grandfather, Richard Teller Crane, was a member of a pioneer Chicago family. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of St. Louis; a son, Robert B. Jr., of Chesterfield; daughter, Mary F. Crane of Wilmette; and a brother, Richard C. of Pacific Pallisades, Cal.
