- William B. Holden, former Wilmette and Evanston resident, died suddenly in Clayton, Ga., on Nov. 12. His two sons, William Jr. and Charles, preceded him in death. William Jr. was killed in an airplane crash in 1974 and Charles died in an automobile accident in 1978. Mr. Holden's wife, Grace McClure Holden,of Franklin, survives.
