- Hugh J. Fischer, 81, formerly of Kenilworth, died June 24 at Evanston Hospital. Born in Switzerland. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Joslin Fischer; two daughters, Lisa Van T'Wout [sic] of Granada Hills, California, and Laura Dodge of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; two sons, Kurt of Maryland, and Hugo of Los Cruces, New Mexico; six grandchildren; and his brother, Kurt J. Fischer.
