- Samuel F. Purnell of 3808 Lake Av., Wilmette, passed away Tuesday at Evanston Hospital. He was 69. Mr. Purnell was born in Attica, Ind. Survivors include Mr. Purnell's wife, Eloise; his mother, Elizabeth Purnell, 97, who resides in Indiana; two children, James F. of Evanston and Penny S. Sims of Wilmette; four grandchildren; and a brother, Fritz Purnell of Evanston. Burial will be in Attica, Ind.
