- Philip Maher,87, died last fall in the house his father, George Maher, built at 424 Warwick Rd. in Kenilworth. Philip Maher was a well-known architect who designed the Stuart Municipal Building as well as several homes. George Maher, a friend of Joseph Sears, designed and donated plans for the Kenilworth Club, the village fountain, stone benches and bridges near Sheridan Rd. Philip's cousin, Violet Wyld, still resides in the family home on Warwick Rd.
