- Over one thousand women of Wilmette registered for war work this week. The registration forwomen will continue until December 1. Comments by Mrs. C. R. Smith, Chairman of the Woman's Club of Wilmette registration committee. The women in charge of the various precincts are Mrs. D. M. Gallie, first precinct; Mrs. Emil Butz, second precinct; Mrs. W. D. Matthews, third precinct; Mrs. Graham Smith, fourth precinct; Mrs. C. E. Fouts, fifth precinct.
