- Fred Resnick, 46, of MoMax Builders in Northbrook, was convicted of 14 counts of home repair fraud and related crimes in 2005 and 2006. Courts in Cook, Lake and Kane Counties have ordered him to make restitution. Lawyers are fighting his attempt to gain bankruptcy protection.
