- The opening of a new club for men in uniform on Sunday afternoon and evening was a great success. The house committee under Mrs. MacDougal, made a comfortable sitting room. Men were given rides by automobile and an opportunity to play sports ranging from tennis to swimming by Miss Dorothy Sears's committee. Mrs. Louise Wilson's committee prepared a supper. Mrs. Foresman's committee on hospitality took care of three men who had shore leave till 7:30 a.m. Mrs. Ware and her assitants had a beautiful party.
