Wedding held last Saturday evening of Miss Mary Katherine Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Taylor, Jr., and Lieut. F. A. Geould of Evanston. The ceremony was perforomed at the Church of the Holy Comforter in Kenilworth by the Reverned Herbert Gwyn. Miss Charlotte Parmelee served as maid of honor, while two sisters of the bride, the Misses Dorothy and Margaret Taylor, were the bridesmaids. Lieutenant Loomis Hypes of Evanston and Camp Grant, acted as best man. Andrew and Herbert Taylor, Walter Gerould and Frank Ketchum were ushers.

Engagement announced of Miss Gevilla Esther Colegrove, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin H. Colegrove, 735 Tenth street, to R. H. Kurt Neukranz of Evanston, son of Mrs. Marie Neukranz of Sandkaas, Burnholm, Denmark.

Engagement announced of Miss Helen Hootman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Hootman of Evanston, to Captain Edwin G. Booz. No date has been set for the wedding.

Wedding announced of Miss Caroline Marie Edwards, organist of the Congregational Church, and Robert von Ritter, in the U.S. Navy. Wedding took place July 25, 1917 at Yonkers,N.Y. The bride's father is Charles W. Edwards, president of the Illinois College of Music.

Ladies Aid Society of the Methodist Church elected officers for the ensuing year: Mrs. F. A. Troy, Mrs. F. H. Darst, Mrs. H. W. Mons, Mrs. E. N. Stafford, Mrs. H. E. Poronto, Mrs. C. G. Smith, Mrs. Percy Cunningham, Mrs. R. J. Burrows, Mrs. Williard, H. Thayer, Mrs. A. L. Gale, Mrs. J. J. Webber, Mrs. H. W. Mons, Mrs. Lee F. English, Mrs. Jonathan Drake

Next Tuesdsay at Brown's Hall, Madame Edna Gordecke will present her students in recital: Virginia Belt, Mary Lowell, Bera Hoeber, Byron Smith, Rosamond Barton, Ruth Bower, Rebecca Wheelock, Marion Osten, Florence Wheelock, Dorothy King, Evelyn Humphrey and Ruth Kasten.

Miss Eleanor Nicholes of 816 Forest avenue returned this week form the Mount Ida School in Boston. She was accompanied by two friends, the Misses Hazel Ward of Oklahoma City and Pearl Brink of Boston.

Mrs. James Dulin, 1330 Sheridan road, is spending ten days with her husband, now stationed at Camp Robinson, Sparta, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest B. Page of Ravenswood, are spending a few days at the Dulin home, during Mrs. Dulin's absence.

Miss Nora Palmer, 932 Forest avenue, returned from a visit with her sister, Mrs. Lawrence Tower, at Waco, Texas.

Mrs. C. D. Worthington and daughter, Mary, of 602 Lake avenue, will leave Saturday for a visit in the east.

Mrs. J. A. Hoth of 1210 Lake avenue announces the marriage of her daughter, Jeanette, to Ensign William Weber of Seattle, Wash., which took place on Friday of last week.

Madame Eda [sic] Goedecke, presented three pupils, Miss Ruth Wall, Miss Ethel Flentye and Mrs. Edward B. Rathbone of Wilmette in recital last Tuesday at the Fine Arts Building.

Dr. and Mrs. Charles G. Smith of 1325 Greenwood avenue, have received word of their son, Dale Smith's, safe arrival overseas.

Mr. and Mrs. William C. Jones of 511 Tenth street spent last Sunday at the home of Lieutenant Colonel and Mrs. Moffett at Fort Sheridan.

Miss Bernice Shurtleff, 815 Lake avenue, returned from a visit with her former roomate at Madison, Wis.

Mrs. A. E. Replogle of La Porte, Ind., is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Wallace W. Kerr, 707 Forest avenue.

Mr. Howard Shurtleff, stationed at Camp Grant, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Shurtleff, 815 Lake avenue.

Mr. and Mrs.Winthrop M. Trask of Evanston, announce the birth of a baby girl, Mary Elizabeth, on June 3. The Trasks formerly lived at 1043 Ashland.

Miss Sarah Gallegher, 1233 Forest avenue, is spending a week at White Lake, Michigan, at the house party of her sorority, Delta Gamma.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Baker, 507 Lake avenue, are visiting in New York to attend the wedding of Mrs. Baker's niece.

Mrs. Alexander N. McCallum and three children, 831 Central avenue, have returned from a visit in Asheville, N.C.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry G. Baldwin, 226 Ningh street, has returned from a visit to California.

Mrs. Barbour Gray and sons, of Nashville, Tenn., have arrived in Wilmette to join Mr. Gray.

Miss Doris Dunston of Buffalo, N.Y., is visiting Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Cunningham of 1036 Forest avenue.
