- The six o'clock and Sunday closing "order" came from misunderstanding. The restrictions were actuallly "recommendations" of the War Service committee of the National Automobile Dealers Association to the War Industries Board at Washington. Programs were to be worked out locally in each city and town to fit local conditions.
