ArLynn Lieber Presser of Winnetka was awarded a literary award from the Illinois Arts Council for her autobiographical story, "Ghost Light: Or, what really goes on inside and outside of Plato's Cave" Presser was given up for adoption at age 3 by her natural parents and was raised by a mentally ill person.
