State and federal legislation to reimburse local governments for anti-emerald ash borer work is emerging. The U.S. Department of Agriculture is tudying wheter three types of sting-less wasps can attach the emerald ash borers. Wilmette has set aside $375,000 for ash borer-related tree removal this season.
