- Sara and Jeffrey Hutsell of Deerfield were charged with allowing their son to host an underage drinking party in the basement of their home that led to two fatalities when guests tried to drive home. Comments by Jessica Del Monaco, age 16, and Lindsay Olsen, age 16, Lynea Martin, age 15; also adults Dawn Randall, Laurie Costanzo, Stacy Frueh, and Suzanne Savin, mother of Jessica Savin, the Glencoe teen who died when she fell through a skylight in April. Jessica Savin was the former girlfriend of Jesse Trace, the twin brother of Ross Trace, 18, who died in the car crash that also killed Daniel Bell, 18, after the party last October. Others mentioned in the article include Mikel Milks, director of Glencoe's Public Safety Department, Angelo Grandi, Charles Jones and Carly Lapin, all 19 and of Deerfield, and Jordan Kristinovich, 19, of Glencoe.
