- Cleaning the alleys is high on the list of needed improvements. The purpose of the association is to beautify and improve the entire village. Officers of the organization are Harry W. Miller, president; J. P. Gowing, vice president; Edward Kirchberg, Jr., secretary and P. M. Bingham, treasurer. Directors are Peter Van Schaack, G. J. Bichl, Joseph Shantz and Arthur L. Rice.
