- Elsa Martha Wallgren and Matthew Mark Johnson were married Sept. 2 at the Winnetka Covenant Church with the Rev. Peter Hawkinson officiating. The bride is the daughter of John and Joan Wallgren of Winnetka. The groom is the son of Mark and Debbie Johnson of Lacey, Wash. The matron and maid of honor were Linnea Johnson and Greta Wallgren, sisters of the bride, both of Chicago; and the best man was Jeff Johnson, the groom's brother of Lacey, Wash. The bridesmaids were Anne Clausen, cousin of the bride, of Gurnee, Jaime Clausen of Northfield, Molly Thomas of Wilmette, Christine Buettgen of Deerfield and Janine Johnson of Glenview. The groomsmen were Justin Brundage, Nate VanDeventer, Leonard Quintanilla and John Brodin, all of Washington; Dave Bjorlin of Hermantown, Minn., and Eric Wallgren, brother of the bride, of Winnetka.
