- Description and photographs of the interior and exterior of The Village Theatre, 1150 Wilmette Avenue, and the exterior of the Central Theatre at 1120 Central Avenue. Both theaters have double projectors so no waiting between reels is necessary. The theaters also have alternating electric current and gold fiber curtains which allow for sharp images. The heating is satisfactory and in summer the theaters are cooled by a ventilating system forcing cooled fresh air into the auditoriums. Both theaters are fumigated once a week with solidified formaledhyde under supervision of the village health department. The manager, Mr. M. L. Sparr is very experienced in the motion picture business. The founders of these theaters are Wilmette businessmen. The theaters publish a weekly newsletter, "The Village Movie," with short synopses of the pictures to be shown with information about the movie stars.
