- Former Wilmette resident. David R. Jones, 65, died Feb. 22 at his home in Skokie. He is survived by his widow, Helen, two sons; David R. Jr., and James, both of Skokie; a daughter, Mrs. Guinevere J. Newman of Los Angeles, Cal.; two sisters, Mrs. Anita Emans of Eau Claire, Wis.; Mrs. Edna Goldsmith of Spring Green, Wis.; and a brother, Dr. James H. Jones of Upper Darby, Pa.
