- Wendy Reid Fix and David Michael Shpiz were married June 9 at Chateau Julien in Carmel Valley, Calif., with the Rev. Gilbert W Bowen officiating. The bride is the daughter of John and Linda Fix of Kenilworth. The groom is the son of Leo and Ellie Shpiz of Albany, N.Y. The matron of honor was Emily Fillippini, the maid of honor was Katie Cunningham and the best man was Andy Shpiz, brother of the groom. The bridesmaids were Amy Rabe, Erin Egan, Emily Waterbury, Samantha Davidson and the bride's sisters-in-law, Barbara Fix, Jennifer Fix and Jill Fix. The groomsmen were Mark Brown, John Driscoll, Brett Classman, Michael Hemandez, led Holt, Bob Marchitello and the bride's brothers, John, Chris and David Fix. The flower girls were Caroline Fix, Cassie Fix and Tali Fix, nieces of the bride, and Emma Shpiz, Lauren Shpiz and Julia Shpiz, nieces of the groom. The ring bearers were Nathan and Tobin Fix, nephews of the bride. The couple live in San Francisco.
