RESOLUTION TO

DETERMINE ESTIMATE OF FUNDS NEEDED FOR 2007/2008 FISCAL YEAR

WHEREAS, The Kenilworth Public Library District must file on or before December 30, 2007 its Levy Ordinance for the 2007/2008 fiscal year; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Cook County Truth in Taxation Law effective January 2000, The Kenilworth Public Library District must determine not fewer than 30 days prior to adoption of its Levy Ordinance the amount of money, exclusive of any portion of the levy attributable to election costs, necessary to be raised by taxation for the 2007/2008 fiscal year;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND DETERMINED by the Board of Trustees of The Kenilworth Public Library District that the estimated amounts of money, exclusive of election costs, to be raised by taxation for the 2007/2008 fiscal year is $241,126.

FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing pursuant to the Cook County Truth in Taxation Law shall be held on the 25TH day of October 2007 at 8:00 p.m. at the Kenilworth Village Hall, 419 Richmond Road, Kenilworth, IL 60043.

FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of said public hearing in compliance with said Law shall be given in the Wilmette Life not more than 14 days or less than 7 days prior to the date of the public hearing.
