- Saturday's loss to Purdue ended Lindsay Anderson's volleyball career at Northwestern University. Anderson is a senior from Wilmette.
Wilmette's Kayley Elmer recently ended a solid rookie season on the volleyball team at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa.
Eamon Monaghan, a senior from Wilmete, finished seventh as an individual while competing for the Carleton College men's cross country team at the NCAA Division III Championships held Nov. 17 at St. Olaf College in Minnesota.
New Trier graduate Matt Clark and Evanston graduate Will Strehlow combined with Lake Forest alumnus ANdrew Franklin to lead the University of Vermont to their first title at the Midwest Region Fall Intersectinal sailing competition hosted by the Chicago Yacht Club last weekend
Euro Soccer Club recently sent four of its girls teams to the M.C. United College Showcase Tournament in St. Louis. Competing on the Under 17 United squad was Hannah Miller of Winnetka. The Under-16 team also won its division and included Syd Cohen, Lauren Hall, Sarah Ryan, Claire Van Winkle and Julie Weiss of Wilmette with Katie Hulick of Winnetka. Playing with the Under-13 Premier team was Caitlin Bischoff of Winnetka and Margo Singer of Glencoe.
New Trier High School alumnus Dan Weiner earned honorable mention for the all-academic team chosen in the Gateway Conference this year. He is a senior wide receiver at Illinois State University. - Date of Publication
