- The “Prosperity Club” lO-cent chain letter craze is sweeping the north shore, and many citizens are feverishly writing to friends to engage in the pastime, and above all, to keep the game going.
Some people are engaging in fraud by moving their names to the top of the list. Readers are urged not to respond to a letter that does not have the name of a personal friend at the bottom of the list.
